Join Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation for a magical day of creativity and imagination at our "Young Picassos: Painting Masterpieces" event! Designed exclusively for children of all ages (babies and up), this engaging and colorful gathering celebrates the joy of artistic expression and encourages young minds to unleash their inner artists. We will provide you with a 16x20 blank canvas and we will have an assortment of child safe, non-toxic paint colors for you to choose from to dip your child's hands and/or feet into. There will be several painter drop cloths scattered through out the grassy area to allow for enough room for people with their children to paint their one of a kind master pieces. There will also be kiddie pools set up to allow you to wash your child's hands & feet afterwards. This is sure to be a fun event as always! We advise you to pre-purchase your tickets to ensure you have a spot since we will only have a limited amount of canvases. You can arrive anytime from the hours of 11:00am - 1:00pm. We ask that the latest you arrive is 12:30pm, as the event ends at 1:00pm and we wouldn't want you to rush your little artist at work. We will be holding this fundraising event outside in the grassy area in Humboldt Park by little Cubs field right by the socceer field. Can't make it? We will be having a adoption event with some of our kitties and cats that are currently available for adoption. You will be able to meet & greet, play, kiss and hug every single one of them. Whiskers & Tails is about finding the purrfect matches and this is a great opportunity for you to find the one(s).
Please note that in order to take a kitten, cat or bonded pair home that day you MUST submit an adoption application and have it approved BEFORE the event. We do NOT do same day adoptions. Back by popular demand again this year, it's time for our "Paw Painting" fundraiser, where your dogs are the artists & they create their own one of a kind art piece.This event is a wonderful way to commemorate your love for your pet in a furever lasting sentimental way. This event is held outside in the grassy area in Humboldt Park by little Cubs field. We will provide you with a 16x20 blank canvas and will have an assortment of pet safe, non-toxic paint colors for you to choose from to dip your pet's paws into. There will be painter drop cloths scattered throughout the grassy area to allow for enough room for people with their dogs to paint their masterpieces. PHOTO SUBMISSTIONS OPEN NOW, Voting takes place (October 24th - October 31st)
Because we love our pets and don't want to make them miserable, this year's pet photo contest is a HALLOWEEN THEME pet photo contest. That means you do NOT have to have to dress up your pet in a costume and instead the photo can have a Halloween theme with your pet in it, it just has to have a Halloween theme (a real one, no fake backgrounds). If your pet enjoys wearing a costume, great, submit your costume photos! But if your pet does NOT enjoy it, the picture can have a Halloween theme. If you are looking for examples, look at our Contest banner (do you have pumpkins? take a photo of your pet sitting amongst them, do you have any Halloween toys or cardboard houses? put your pet on them.)
The Halloween theme Pet PHOTO SUBMISSION ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN and you can start submitting your photos. There is a $5.00 entry fee per photo to participate. You may enter as many pets as you like, but please only 1 photo of the same pet, group pet photos are accepted. Once you have entered, invite your friends and family to vote for your pet photo when the voting polls are open. Votes are $1 each (There are discounted voting rates with the more votes you purchase in a single transaction).
The Halloween Theme pet PHOTO VOTING opens at 8:00 am (CST) on Tuesday, October 24th and closes at 9:00 pm (CST) on Tuesday, October 31st .

Why paint your pet when your pet can paint for you? That’s right! Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation is hosting our annual “Paw Painting” party, where your dog can create their own unique masterpiece. This fundraiser is a heartfelt way to commemorate your love for your pet with a lasting and sentimental piece of art.
Join us at Pet Supplies Plus - Wicker Park 1289 N. Milwaukee Ave (the parking lot is in the back of the store off of Milwaukee & Paulina), where we’ll provide a large 16x20 canvas and a selection of pet-safe, non-toxic paint colors for your dog’s paws. We’ll have plenty of space with drop cloths spread out so everyone can enjoy creating their masterpiece. Afterward, your dog can rinse off in one of our doggie pools—soap and towels provided. Please note: while the paint might temporarily stain your dog’s paw pads or fur, it will fade in a few days.
This event is always a fantastic time! To guarantee your canvas, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as supplies are limited. You can arrive anytime between 11:00 am and 2:45 pm. Please note the latest arrival time is 2:45 pm, as the event concludes at 3:00 pm, and we want your pup to have plenty of time to create their art.

Love to craft? Love animals? Then this is the event for you! Whether you’re looking to spoil your furry friend with a stylish new accessory or just want an excuse to get creative, our Get Crafty for a Cause: DIY Pet Bandana Making Party is the perfect way to combine fun and compassion.
Hosted by Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation, this event helps support our mission to save cats in need. Your general ticket includes one bandana and all the supplies you’ll need to design and customize a fabulous accessory for your pet. Come solo or bring a friend, either way, you’ll leave with a creation made with love and paws-itive vibes.
To keep things small, quaint, and personable, this class is limited to only 15 seats. Reserve your spot today and let’s craft something pawsome together! **This crafting class is for ages 18 and up. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks with you. You must be 21 and over to bring alcohol; IDs will be checked.

Join us for Kittens & Clovers, where we're helping cats find their pot of gold! Purchase a $10 raffle ticket for a chance to win big in our 50/50 raffle. Winning name will be pulled on St. Catty's day, March 17th at 8:00pm. Don't miss out on your chance to win some green!

1. Ticket Price: Each ticket for the 50/50 raffle is priced at $10. Enter as many times as you would like. This is an online raffle, therefore, you do not have to be present to win.
2. Eligibility: The 50/50 raffle is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
3. Ticket Sales: Tickets can be purchased online from March 1, 2025 until March 17, 2025 at 7:00pm (CST). For each ticket you purchase, your name will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win. You may enter as many times as you would like for more chances.
4. Drawing Date and Time: The winning ticket will be randomly drawn on St. Patrick's Day at 8:00 PM (CST) through the online random picker generator.
5. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via email that was provided at the time of ticket purchase.
6. Prize Distribution: The total proceeds from ticket sales will be split equally between the winner and Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation. The winner will receive 50% of the total proceeds as their prize, while the remaining 50% will be used to support the operations and initiatives of Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation.
7. Public Announcement: The winning ticket number and the amount won will be announced publicly through our social media channels and email newsletter.
