Dr. D's story began on the streets, where he and his brother were struggling to survive in an alley alongside 20 other cats. Living under a garage, they were dirty, starving, scared, and covered in fleas. In 2018, we managed to trap them, bringing these two frightened kittens into the Whiskers & Tails family. Due to their age, socialization was challenging, and they remained shy, needing time to warm up to their foster mom and familiar faces. 

 

Over the years, Dr. D faced another challenge—he gradually lost his sight and is now completely blind due to hereditary progressive retinal atrophy (PRA). Despite this, he continues to live a happy life under our care, where we’re dedicated to making sure he stays comfortable and loved.
